A brief introduction to Muhammad and Allah

Muhammad gave orders to kill:

Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, Number 582:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:

On the day of the Conquest, the Prophet entered Mecca, wearing a helmet on his head. When he took it off, a man came and said, "Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtain of the Ka'ba." The Prophet said, "Kill him." (Malik a sub-narrator said, "On that day the Prophet was not in a state of Ihram as it appeared to us, and Allah knows better.")

and, from The life of Muhammad: a translation of Ishaqs Sirat rasul Allāh, p. 550, also The Life of Muhammad: Al-Waqidis Kitab al-Maghazi By Rizwi Faizer, page 406

"He (Abdullah b. Khatal) had two singing-girls Fartana and her friend who used to sing satirical songs about the apostle, so he ordered that they should be killed with him. Another was al-Huwayrith b. Nuqaydh b. Wahb b. Abd b. Qusayy, one of those who used to insult him in Mecca." (Pages 550-551)

Thomas Jefferson's encounter with Islam:

-(leading up to the Barbary War in 1786)- Thomas Jefferson and John Adam's met with Tripoli's ambassador to determine if the Barbary states had any right to kidnap and slaughter the innocent crews of passing merchant ships. Here's what Jefferson recorded:

"We took the liberty to make some inquiries concerning the Grounds of their pretentious to make war upon Nations who had done them no Injury, and observed that we considered all mankind as our friends who had done us no wrong, nor had given us any provocation.

The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the Laws of their prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every mussel man (Muslim) who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise."

Allah is a deceiver:

According to the Qur'an, Allah is the "best of deceivers" (3:54; 8:30). The phrase is often translated into English as "best of planners," "best of schemers," or "best of plotters," but the root word (makr) means "deception." Hence, the following Qur'an verses should be rendered as follows:

Qur'an 3:54 And they (the unbelievers) planned to deceive, and Allah planned to deceive (the unbelievers), and Allah is the best of deceivers.

Qur'an 7:99 Are they then safe from Allah's deception? No one feels safe from Allah's deception except those that shall perish.

Qur'an 8:30 And (remember) when the unbelievers plotted deception against you (O Muhammad), to imprison you, or kill you, or expel you. They plotted deception, but Allah also plotted deception; and Allah is the best of deceivers.

Don't take the Qur'an with you
